International students can be recalled to the United States if universities turn to online classes because of Covid-19

The last week has not been easy for international students studying at U.S. universities who have suspended in person classes.

The Homeland Security Department has stated that online classes can be taken by international students without adversely affecting their visa status.
But with the COVID-19 pandemic forcing universities to partially close their campuses, there are still many unanswered questions.
