Coronavirus vaccine site to be built at the Karachi Expo Centre

On Thursday, Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho said the provincial government had agreed to set up a coronavirus vaccination point at the Karachi Expo Centre.

The minister also visited the Karachi Expo Centre, as reported by Abigail News, to review the arrangements made there so far in this respect.

Per the piece, Dr. Pechuho said that a cold chain would soon be finalised to hold the vaccines under the required low temperature, along with other appropriate arrangements.

The vaccination process will take place in many phases, Dr Pechuho added. She claimed that, for this reason, she instructed the authorities concerned to compile a list of frontline health workers who will be the first to receive the jabs.
