Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a service that will provide daily wage staff with free food

Abigail News: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan introduced the “koi bhooka na soye (no one must go to bed hungry program),” under which daily wage workers would receive free meals.

The scheme, which is part of the larger Ehsaas initiative, will see food trucks roaming major cities in Pakistan, initially in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, distributing freshly cooked food twice a day to daily wage workers.

“The daily wagers, who live in big cities to earn and send money back home, will be the biggest beneficiaries of this scheme,” the official PTI Twitter account explained.
