Critical commodities are seeing a significant price increase ahead of Ramadan

People’s woes have worsened as a result of a sharp rise in the prices of basic commodities ahead of Ramadan, according to Abigail News.

In Karachi, 1kg sugar now costs Rs105 due to price increases. Chicken costs Rs450 per kilogram, cooking oil costs Rs280 per litre, and pulse prices have risen as well.

Sugar, chicken, fruits, vegetables, and other important items have also increased in price in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital.
