One of my favorite moments was when she sang “I Drove All Night” while walking through the crowd as her stage transformed into a rising platform behind her. The unbelievable success of A New Day… paved the way for other music legends like Elton John, Rod Stewart and Cher to also establish long-running Vegas residencies.
Let’s Talk About Love World Tour (1998–1999)
On the heels of her chart-topping 1997 album Let’s Talk About Love, Celine kicked off an extensive world tour in 1998 to perform hits like “My Heart Will Go On” and “Immortality” for fans globally. As expected, the Let’s Talk About Love World Tour was a massive success, selling out arenas across 5 continents with 97 shows in 40 cities.
Spanning fifteen months, this tour grossed over $125 million worldwide. As a life-long fan, getting tickets to the Australian leg of the tour in Sydney felt like a dream.
