Unveiling the Collaborative Genius: Which Artists Have Partnered with Imagine Dragons the Most?

Imagine Dragons has become one of the most successful rock bands of the past decade thanks to their anthemic pop rock sound and ability to collaborate with artists from diverse genres. While they don’t have a single artist who consistently partners with them the most, there are a few names that stand out for their recurring and impactful collaborations.

Riot Games – The Strongest Connection

Imagine Dragons has arguably their strongest connection with video game developer Riot Games, creators of the popular multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends. They have created two singles specifically for League of Legends – “Warriors” in 2013 and “Enemy” in 2021 featuring rapper JID for the Netflix series Arcane based on the game’s lore.

“Warriors” became an instant hit, topping music charts in over 15 countries and garnering over 1 billion YouTube views. The song has become synonymous with League of Legends esports events and tournaments.

Their 2021 collaboration “Enemy” featuring JID also achieved commercial success, topping the US Rock and Alternative charts. The song was featured prominently in the trailers and soundtrack for Arcane, helping to promote the show.

In addition to creating original music for League of Legends, Imagine Dragons has performed live at the game’s esports events numerous times. They have also collaborated with the game’s composer Koji Kondo on remixes and live performances, showing the deep connection between the band and Riot Games.

JID – The Most Frequent Collaborator

While Riot Games has the strongest overall connection with Imagine Dragons, rapper JID is arguably their most frequent collaborator. JID contributed vocals to “Enemy” in 2021, marking his second collaboration with the band after “Radioactive (Remix)” in 2012 featuring Kendrick Lamar.
